About the author...

K. Elle Collier grew up on the South Side of Chicago. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Creative Writing from Iowa State University.

K. Elle began her writing career by participating in such esteemed programs as the Bill Cosby Writing Workshop, the Walt Disney Writing Fellowship, and the Warner Bros. Comedy Writing Program, the last of which led to a staff writing position on the CW situation comedy, Girlfriends.

K. Elle later branched off to other avenues of writing such as
screenplays and plays, adapting the best-selling novel Friends and Lovers by Eric Jerome Dickey for the stage. My Man’s Best Friend is her first novel; she is currently working on a sequel. K. Elle lives in Los Angeles, California.
