Central character Kai Edwards – a woman that has it together for the most part - finds out that her boyfriend, Todd, has a long time best friend that is a beautiful woman named Alana. Kai comes up with a conniving plan to keep Todd's attention, and the rollercoaster ride begins.
The author's debut deals with controversial issues including sex, drug addition, and relationships. This fictional book shows some dubious behaviors by the three main characters and the serious consequences of those behaviors.
In the end, there is an underlining message of determination and recovery. This is a good read, with passion and emotion. The dialogue between Kai and the supporting cast of characters has something for everyone, including an ultimate lesson about being true to oneself.
It is a hard book to put down, written with a detailed, up to date authenticity. It is the finest novel I have read this year. The twists and turns of this compelling story continue until the very last page.

I enjoyed reading your book over the weekend. Once I started reading I could not put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next. I can't wait until the next book or "Part 2" comes out. This book honestly kept me wanting more and more it was definitely like watching a good movie! This is actually a book anyone can relate to it contains, sex, lies, betrayal, everlasting pain one can experience, but it also throws you for a loop because what your expecting isn't really the ending result! I definitely want more!!

I found KAI’S AFTERMATH to be a page turner!!
You’ll be glad to know that your book kept my attention! I thought it was stimulating, sexy, emotional, and funny. I actually had an outburst of laughter reading the dialogue between Alana and Jessica - especially about the Luther Vandross song that was intended to get Alana in the mood and Alana’s thoughts about it. That was funny. Smooth talk’n playa player Jessica, sounds like she may be from Oklahoma not NY.

Of course I didn’t want it to end. That Alana had it coming, and got what she deserved, and Kai all I can say is that she is full of surprises! K. Elle's novel will definitely bring some reality to your life. I would LOVE to see it on the big screen. It has so much emotion, the unthinkable happens, it truly is a great read! After reading, it will definitely leave you telling all your friends and family, I did! Between the first Novel and the Sequel, I must admit I had a lot of jaw dropping moments. Hmm, will there be more??
